Maybe tell her a time that is earlier than when you actually need to be there so if she's late for that time, she'll actually be on time for the actual appointment. Also driving can be scary if you've never tried it before, but I would definitely recommend having a lesson on private land where its nice safe bc that can help ease anxiety.
@hello.its.me i second these suggestions!

"Set small daily goals and work yourself towards your larger goal of getting your license. Take your time, and go at your own pace. Bring a friend with you to practice, try deep breathing, or listen to a song you like if it is not distracting. The most important thing is that you put yourself out there and keep trying, even when it is hard. Remind yourself of why you want to get it, and how rewarding it will be. You could also consider living on campus if you're attending a college that's far from home."
