Just got fired from my job because I haven’t really been showing up… I feel so guilty and lazy. Logically I know it isn’t really my fault that I missed so many days. I tried my best to the point of complete burnout. I haven’t been eating the way I should at all, I’ve been so tired that I feel like I can’t stop sleeping. I haven’t showered or brushed my teeth in a while. My entire apartment is such a mess… I’m just so tired. And I feel like it’s all my fault. I hope going inpatient helps.. but I can’t imagine a reality for me where I’m able to work enough to pay my bills AND take care of myself… I’m so scared and I don’t know what to do anymore.

Hi NebulaMeadow, I know exactly how you are feeling - I've feeling like tgat fir the past couple of years, alveit not such a difficult level as yours. It's definitely not your fault! I know how everything feels like an uphill battle every day, every hour, every minute. If you can try to read Gabor Mate's 'Scattered Mind'. I just started reading it and the first two chapters just opened my eyes to how common ADHD is, and I'm told it helps understand how our brain works and how we can overcome some of these challenges. Hope you find the strength to go on. Remember: one foot in front of the other, small steps, and if you can't... Just breathe in... Breathe out. There's always tomorrow, and people who relate!
