I’ve been taking lamictal 200mg since last November but since June I’ve been having a very difficult depressive episode. I’m constantly crying, thinking about traumatic memories, feel as if it’s never going to get better, and thoughts of hurting myself very badly. These thoughts scare me. I don’t know if the medication is causing it or making it worse and I have another 3 weeks until I see my doctor. Should I stop taking it? Should I ween off it? Should I take some of my old antidepressants until then?
