Struggling with Depression and Social Anxiety

hi mikey!! im so sorry that your “friends” from school said that about your condition(s). i went through the same thing from freshman-junior year in highschool. i had friends, but was scared to explain the situation to them because i knew they wouldn’t believe me or think it was dramatic. im finishing my final year of high school and im a lot better now through therapy and medication. ive almost completely conquered my social anxiety and it’s really fulfilling and im happier. i still have bad days of course, high school is honestly one of the worst places when you struggle with any ailment like this. it’s like, the opposite of a safe space lol. feel free to dm me if you ever need tips <3

Certain people don't believe in mental disorders such as anxiety, BPD, depression etc. As horrible as it is they definitely have no clue how you feel and are being really selfish about the situation

people who dont have social anxiety will never understand what it feels like

high-school is one of the hardest parts of growing up because of the age you are. They will say harsh things but make sure for yourself to not overthink it. You know what’s true for you and that’s all that matters! I myself suffer from social anxiety so you aren’t alone 😂 I get the fear that comes with it. Just focus on yourself and try your best to ignore irrelevant comments like that!! Stay strong!
