how do I cope with knowing that I'm going to be in pain for the rest of my life? i can minimize the pain as much as possible, but I'll never be able to get rid of it. it's hard to find the motivation to stay alive when I know I'm never gonna be able to escape my own body

"Knowing it won’t be like this forever. Eventually my doctor will figure out my meds, scientists will figure out some treatments, happiness will come. If you truly are feeling hopeless, always ask for help. Ask friends or family or doctors or therapists. Anyone will be willing to try to help you see the purpose of living. You are an important part of the world and we need you here. Nobody deserves to feel so hopeless, and I understand your pain (literally). Sometimes I just sob because of all the pain. But someday it’ll get better. And for now, I can take a bath, do some stretches, take Tylenol and cbd gummies and rest."
