Hi there. I’m always struggled with acne on my back, and just as I thought it had cleared up (spirolactone) it moved to my butt. It’s been hard for me to feel confident with my partner in intimate situations knowing I’m breaking out on my bottom. It’s just been really hard for me, even if I know if my heart he would love me anyways.

The pills makes me a little crazy, otherwise I’d go that route 100%.

I had to get on spironolactone, too after I got an IUD. If you don’t already, is taking oral birth control an option (for the added acne-benefits?)
You know… I’ve never pieced the timeline together but I had the same thing happen. My back is usually clear now and I try to focus on that. You are not alone!
