As May 1st coming (college commitment day) I look at all my finical rewards and look at how many hours I will have to push to be able to just pay half of my tuition. The rest I’ll take out in loans but I have no co-signer and my mom refuses because we have past issues but I will literally independent next year and it scaring me so much and causing my panic attacks to come back. Idk what to do. Any advice?

What the comment above said. There’s also loads of essay and hobby based scholarships and things like that, you can pick obscure ones that no one applies to and see if that helps :) also staying at a community college saves a ton of money
federal loans have a lower interest rate than private loans! and you don't always need a co-signer for student loans, it just usually helps get a better interest rate if the co-signer has good credit. there are also some websites where you can find a bunch of scholarships to apply to. also once you've committed to a school, you could email the financial aid department to ask if they have any tips! and you could also look into jobs on campus!
