Feeling really guilty, ashamed, and like a horrible partner. I'm unable to give my boyfriend his shot (that he needs to get every week) and he isn't able to give then to himself. I don't know what to do, I was very close to a panic attack trying to give it to him. I'm afraid of needles, and the thought of giving somebody a shot makes me shake.

Don't feel bad. Is there a way you can possibly find a friend or other family member to help give your boyfriend his shot? If not, is there a nearby clinic or something that can help administer the shot?? You shouldn't have to push your needs and boundaries aside, your mental health matters too šŸ’• I hope you can find a solution that works for everyone involved!!

Hey Saturn, I'm sorry to hear you're consumed by guilt right now. If your fear of needles is this strong, please don't force yourself to give him a shot. Im sure you care about him deeply and want to help him as much as possible. But you giving him a shot should not be an option with that intense of a fear. Do either of you have a reliable neighbor, family member, or friend who could help? I would start there. Contact any and all contenders. You could have multiple people commit, so then each person would only have to come every 2, 3 or 4 weeks
