I have just been treated again for a water infection and during the treatment of antibiotics I now have a chest infection, cough and skull pain. I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma 9th April 2022 and started treatment 9th August 2022. 6 months of chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. Now I’m in the maintenance phase on revlimid.

Oh, dear that sounds like a rough ride, sorry about that! regarding the water and chest infectiions ,don't hesitate to reach out to your medical team if things get worse. Chemo + a stem cell transplant, and now maintenance with Revlimidn seems like a lot to handle. I am here in my little space praying for you, that you’ll be filled with soo much strength to keep fighting..

Hang in there! the year after chemo is a tough one, but it gets better the farther you are from it, trust me, I've been there 5-6 years ago

I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma back in 2014, and I've also been on Revlimid for maintenance for a whole year after chemo. In my case, I had this chronic fatigue and bone pain that won’t go away. I didn’t experience any consistent infections, as in your case.I totally understand the stress you are going through, and I'm so sorry. My heart goes to you and I wish you strength.

Hey there, I'm so sorry to hear about it... Dealing with infections after cancer treatment can be incredibly challenging. The immune system can be weakened during and after treatment, making it harder for your body to fight off infections. Keeping your medical team in the loop is super important, especially since your immune system might still be recovering (and you're still on revlimid...). Hang in there, and if you need to chat more, we're here to lend an ear. Stay strong! 💪
