Does anyone start feeling like their skin is crawling when they get really stressed? If so, what do you do to deal with it that isn’t self destructive? Because I get that feeling and my first reactions is to start scratching at my skin.

Yes! I will start scratching without knowing and then I’m bleeding.

This is something I’m currently working on! It takes a lot of determination because the brain is already in stress mode, but I try to lean into the discomfort and irritation of the itchiness, then turn it around into a positive sensation. Like a sort of fake it till you make it, and I’ll just imagine it’s a universe tickle and it’ll remind me not to take stress so seriously!
