Does anyone have any tips on how to stop scrolling on your phone in order to get stuff done that needs to be done? its like i cant get up to do it even though i know i need to.. it sucks and i usually cant get out of it until i get in trouble, however im tired of getting yelled at so i would really like to break out of this. Im supposed to clean my room but all im doing is anything but cleaning. Ive tried stuff like turning it into a game that doesnt really work for me but i cant find anything else and i dont have a reward system that works eitherđĽ˛

@zari This is exactly what I do and it helps alot. Set alarms/timers and make lists so I don't forget.
i like to set alarms. so one alarm to stop scrolling, then i put my phone typically on my chest and stare off, then second alarm is my âget upâ alarm where i get up and do shit i need to. i set alarms with titles âyou got this. [20, 25 etc] more minutesâ periodically until another alarm where i take a break. alarms are my best friend and one of my favorite tools. when iâm done, i reward myself with having the task done, crossing it off a list, and getting a snack/watch tv/allowing myself to get a coffee next time im out, etc
@zari thank you! So far ive gotten one load of laundry in the washer but theres like so many more clothes that need to be sorted and then washed dried and put awayđŁ
