What has helped you stay positive? (mindset, journaling etc). I was recently diagnosed, and feel at 39 this is a lot to mentally take in as part of my future.

"Receiving the diagnosis was half the battle and confirmed that I’m not crazy and these symptoms were not all in my head. Exercising helps regulate me. Journaling, even just a sentence a day, can be helpful. Make sure to include any emotions you feel. Understanding my emotions and where they may come from has been extremely helpful for me. It made the diagnosis less scary. It's also a really helpful tool for therapy. Taking time to research my conditions makes me feel in control. Giving myself permission to take care of myself changed my perspective. Meditation helps to get my mind off of my pain and all my health problems. I always try to think about what I can do & what is going good at the moment. Sometimes I find writing down my feelings helps."
