Starting a new job today! How do I bring up my t1d to them?

I would just tell them hey I am type 1 diabetic and I may need to take my sugar if I feel high or low. If you don't have a cgm. And I have to eat a snack if my sugars a low. Advocate for yourself. They can't fire you for needing stuff for your disability. But congratulations on the job.

You just tell them hey just so yall know im a type 1 diabetic:) they cant fire you for it so dont worry about that. Tell ur manager and than wear a bracelet or necklace so than they'll either notice it or if theres an emergency itll be right there:)
