I was diagnosed with adhd late (my first semester of college), and most of my treatment plan thus far has been targeted at treating my depression and anxiety. i have been struggling a lot recently in school (for reference, I’m currently into the last few weeks of my fall semester sophomore year), but me and my therapist have realized that a lot of my depression and anxiety symptoms stem from unmanaged adhd symptoms. so hopefully soon i will be starting medication for adhd and working with my school to get accommodations, which is exciting! i’m a little bit nervous, i was wondering what others experiences were with starting adhd medication was?
