My body feels like I have ants with anxiety in my bloodstream. Or like I have a weak electric current running through me. Best ways to self soothe this?

I describe it as my skin being on fire and I don't want to be touched at all

I call that "the buzzing" and i work through it by doing meditation art, dancing to music i like, singing to myself, but the biggest help has actually been learning about and using stim toys and fidgets like wiggle noodles, squish balls, slap bracelets, rubber chew necklaces, slime, or soft plushies when i feel that anxious energy coming on. It can feel ridiculous but they do the same thing for the buzzy feeling that they do for neurodivergent brains, it can help you feel calmer by giving you an acceptable outlet for stimulus that is too much and replacing it with more acceptable stimuli.

Best thing I can think of is a positive outlet for the nervous energy. I started going to the gym, but if it's at night and I can't go, I get up and do a bunch of stretches.
