i just had the appointment with a sleep doctor to go over my sleep study results and he actually thinks i have a sleep disorder!! it might not sound like a good thing but it is bc i have the symptoms already so i actually have a probable explanation for them now instead of just not knowing and having such a hard time with sleep. i actually have a good lead on what to do next with it and figuring out what’s wrong with my sleep. :) i’m weirdly excited to take medication that he suggested for it. i have struggled with sleep (waking/getting up in the morning mostly) for so long and it’s so nice to finally have a doctor validate my experiences and suggest a possible explanation/reason instead of just saying that i need better sleep hygiene and it’s just because of my depression when it’s clearly not. the disorder he said i likely have is called idiopathic hypersomnia
