What do you find helps you with your skin picking? Right now what I’m doing is getting thick nails put on at the salon (really helps with scalp picking), and using bandaids, pimple patches, and petroleum jelly on spots I feel an urge to pick at. The bandaids and patches are a physical barrier to prevent picking, and the petroleum jelly is more tactile. If I go to pick a spot where I’ve applied the jelly I’ll feel that it’s “gooey” and it puts me off from picking. Plus it moisturizes dry skin. I’m looking forward to your answers. 😊

I always try to keep my nails short, that always helps and i try to get in the shower immediately after getting undressed so i don’t start looking in the mirror and picking and get lost in it like i usually do, haven’t been super successful lately but that’s okay im doing my best :-)

Literally nothing. I cover my mirror when it's really bad so I dont have a reflection to pick at. That's about it.
