Side Effects of Seizure Medication

Does who have grand mal and take keppra or TRILEPTAL or zonsiamade have headaches or nausea or get lightheaded from it

I take keppra for grand mail seizures! I'm constantly nauseous and it makes me have major mood swings but it's the only medication that I've found in the last 4 years of trying that helps my seizures

I was on Keppra for a long time, but it made me violent and stopped working.

Levetiracetam was first prescribed and never worked for me. I take lamotrigine for my grand mals and zonisamide for my jme and it's been working great

Yes. Keppra is the worst medicine I've ever had to take. I'm switching at my next nuero appointment because I had a seizure which caused a major injury. I was already planning to because the side effects of keppra are too much. but it doesn't even stop my seizures.

I took keppra in the beginning back in 2017 then shortly thereafter went on trokendi XR (topiramate XR) which I have been on every since and no side effects. I take the max dosage.

And your right it causes alot of side effects, nausea and headaches, etc. I had all of these even weight gain
