Concerns about Seizure Medication Side Effects

it’s been almost a year since i finally found the right mix and dose of medications to control my absence and grand mal seizures. I am on keppra and lamotrigine. i know all the side effects that can come with the meds but has anyone experienced the more serious ones like osteoporosis or liver disease? thanks

Yes. I was just diagnosed with early onset osteoporosis. I’m a 34 year old male.

I’m on Keppra and Vimpat, and I recently was diagnosed with severe osteoporosis. The doctor doesn’t know exactly what caused it, but it’s suspected that it must be the Keppra since I’ve been on it for so long, and I’m on the maximum dose.

keppra made my seizures worse almost immediately. I'm taking Lamictal and vimpat now. I'm a lot less bitchy but I still can't control seizures when I see rapid changes in light. What should I tell my doctor about this? I'm sick of living in a dark room and never going outside. I can't even drive anymore.

I've been on Lamictal for 13 years with no issues. I couldn't do Keppra because it made me rage-y
