I have never gotten tested for this, but I have experienced most of the symptoms. Should I go get tested, or should I just stick it out another year or two?

i'm not too sure what getting tested for depression looks like; for me it was more of a gradual and informal thing where i just talked to my therapist and it showed up on my record afterward. but! if you're aware of the procedures and are comfortable getting that extra step of help, i'd say go for it. holding out with what you think to be depression knowingly for a whole year (or two) sounds pretty draining. i hope you get the help you need, JR. let me know if you need someone to chat with :)
