I was diagnosed with shingles 8 months ago, I have a lot of red bumps with puss in them on my butt no kind of ointment works. what is this

Probably shingles? No ointment will help shingles, only make it worse. Shingles needs to be super dried out to clear up, and that’s what taking rx antivirals will do. The healing process will be really itchy and painful but it’s important NOT to scratch, pick or moisturize the shingles
