Severely Over Medicated: Anyone Else?

i’m still on 6, a new dr has slowly been lowering the meds. but in doing so i had a seizure. so it’s going even slower now.

I was for a few years. It started out with just ssris and then they stopped working. Instead of assessing different treatment methods my psychiatrist just kept adding on different medications. By the end of it, I was on ssris, snris, stimulants, mood stabilizers and antipsychotics as well as sleeping pills. I feel a lot better now that I'm off everything, it felt hopeless and numb for a while but things generally improved the more I felt naturally in my body without chemical interference

on everything. i probably should have been more specific, my dr had me on 9 different medications
