Opinions on Self-Diagnosing ADD/ASD?

ASD is autism spectrum disorder. I think it’s ok to do so if it helps you get support or understand yourself better, but I don’t like it when people joke about it and try to justify their actions with it whenever they have any awkward social situation

no, not really. as someone who was diagnosed i think its not really bad, getting diagnosis as afab people and/or poc can be really difficult, especially since doctors dont take you seriously. its ok to selfdiagnose, as long as you know and you research what you're doing. i was self diagnosed for a while until i got my diagnosis.
