so I think my atonic seizures is actually a fainting problem. I specifically believe I have POTS. I did a few at home standing tests and one of the results had my heart rate spike by 60 bpm when all I did was stand up. not even a full minute had passed and I went from like 65 to 124. yet my primary?? said that it was normal?? even when handed evidence that tachycardia is what's causing my symptoms (bc I'd gone to the ER before and they documented my EKG) he said that I was fine and that those numbers weren't concerning!!

Hi, I think in your case it is necessary to go to a cardiologist and perform tests that can check it. In the end, the doctor at the ER is not a cardiologist and there is a chance that he doesn't really know all the less common cases. My disease was diagnosed by a cardiologist and that's after I went through many doctors who didn't know what I was talking about and sent me home claiming that "everything is fine". Have you been to a cardiologist?

@Derek20 no I haven't. My primary decided that a psych was necessary but my other doctor is trying to convince him to refer me to one and get me a proper long term heart monitor
