One way to get doctors to take your seizures seriously is by being persistent and standing your ground. You can request specific tests, such as an EEG or MRI, and make sure they note your requests in your medical chart. Sharing your experiences with others who have gone through similar situations may also provide support and advice on how to navigate the healthcare system.
