My First Rheumatologist Appointment: Ups and Downs

Today I had my first appointment with my new rheumatologist and it went so well. I left feeling really confident that she actually wanted to help me. Although I was hot, sweaty & anxious 🤦🏽‍♀️ she made me feel comfortable enough to explain all of the ups and downs I was feeling. She asked me questions and gave me time to actually explain myself…. She gave me more confidence when she said despite what previous doctors have told me she’s going to do her own full evaluation… starting with more blood work etc.. my arm is sore as heck from getting blood drawn and the burning sensations in my knees and feet are getting to me but I’m okay.. ☺️ The technician stuck me in one vein and nothing came out.. and then she did another vein and nothing came out.. and then the 3rd one.. she got the blood she needed and then all 3 spots started bleeding 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️
