Random bouts of depression despite medication?

Yes, meds help but they aren't the cures i wish they were. Sometimes things in my environment like extra stress or memories of my past traumas will sneak up and trigger bouts of worse depression and anxiety and I have to rely on coping skills until I crawl back out of it.
