Struggling with Depression Medication

I had a lot of things change in my life in the last 3 years. The first one was and ex boyfriend came back into my life. Then we got married a year later. Then my dad died of covid. Then in March my husband asked for a divorce.

I think doing therapy will help with that as well. Medication kind of covers some of the pain but therapy really targets why the pain is there and helps you heal underneath the help of that medication. I still have those days too though and sometimes no matter what medication or how many therapy sessions you have, the stress of life will get to you and will overpower it all. Just remind yourself you’ve felt better before and you’re going to feel that way again. Take it easy and take care of yourself!

It's just a feeling that you have, but not real. Take care, go easy on yourself.

While medication works, it's recommended to do therapy alongside it in order to pick up coping skills and process our emotions. I also understand that there are just days where everything can go wrong.
