I met someone, they were nice and enjoy hanging out with them and just talking. Recently they told me they have feelings for me. They also said they know I'm aro and respect I don't feel the same. I really enjoy hanging out and we flirt with each other all the time. it's platonic (For me at least) and I enjoy how it is. We can just sit for hours, we don't even need to talk, and it feels nice. I haven't had this kind of friendship in a long time and I've missed it. Just chilling with a good friend.

It's awesome that you found someone you can b that comfortable with. It's really hard to find that. It's possible that they took the flirting to heart and that's what sparked the feelings, but as long as u r honest with them and u r both respectful of each others feelings it looks like you're on the way of a great friendship! I sure wish I could find a friend that I was that comfortable with. I honestly don't have any friends rn. And it can b lonely. So hold onto your new friend!
