Hi friends. I had to have surgery Wednesday to clean out and debride a seroma in my back that became infected with staph. I’ve been in the hospital ever since, on IV antibiotics and pain meds to keep the situation under control. Tomorrow they’re putting in a PICC line so I can go home and do my antibiotics there. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience they can share with getting a PICC line put in and how living with one has worked for you. They plan on 3 weeks for me. Thanks in advance for any advice or info!

One user mentioned having a PICC line for strong daily antibiotics and doing daily infusions to continue working on an infection. However, they did not provide specific details about their experience with the PICC line itself or living with one.
