How do you get over your fear of doctors/medical gaslighting. I feel like it’s so hard to find a good doctor these days. My doctor had left her practice ( and she is the only one out of many that actually believed me/ took me seriously). Now I’m scared to even try and look for a replacement for her because I’ve been gaslit since many times. Is this fear/anxiety always going to be here? I have been feeling g like giving up.

If you turn into a b*tch (read: a woman who knows what she needs and how to get it) you face a lot less medical gaslighting because doctors who try that nonsense don't want to see you for more than a consultation where you whine a bunch (read: accurately and eloquently describe your symptoms in a way that makes them feel insecure). Also keep physical copies of every scan and test result to look back on and remind yourself you're right, they're wrong, and they don't have your best interest in mind

Hey, I don't know if the anxiety and fear is ever gonna go away entirely (mine hasn't) but there are doctors out there who will listen and truly care. Do what you need to do (research, take your time, talk it out with friends, take someone with you to your appointments, etc) to help manage your fears. It took me like 5 years to work up to making another gyno appointment after all the gaslighting and trauma from past ones, but I've finally found a team of doctors who are trauma informed and care. Take your time, but please don't give up. You deserve to get the help you need. ❤️
