Native Rant: The Exhaustion of Educating Others on Cultural Differences

It’s 2022, you shouldn’t have to “educate” anyone on why they shouldn’t touch your hair etc… and they damn sure know what phrases are offensive and what’s not.. trust me they know they shouldn’t but they really don’t care.. 💁🏽‍♀️ you can always change your group of friends.. you’re choosing to hang around people who don’t care to understand… stop doing that to yourself… nobody in 2022 need to be educated… THEY KNOW! …. However they will play dumb as if they don’t just to make you feel like they aren’t doing anything wrong..

Sadly, some people need to be educated...if possible get information from a medical professional that they can read..It helped me educate family on my son, who has A-Typical Autism

Could you maybe point them towards a website or blog post/blog in general so you don't have to explain every time? Like, bookmark a few, send them the links, and then it's on them to do their homework.
