anyone else have a lot of trouble in the mornings? When i had a job i was able to wake up but i felt awful and would just struggle so much to motivate myself to get ready and out the door and i eventually had 1 too many days of complete paralysis + anxiety attack call outs. now im struggling to maintain a routine and half the time i forget to take my meds for hours cuz im so brain foggy and often really grouchy. takes hours to feel ok and its really hard to deal with.

I hear you! It’s a struggle working on a schedule that doesn’t align with your sleep/wake schedule. I tried working at a school, but the timing also gave me too much anxiety and I was too groggy to start my mornings. Now that I have moved the time that I take my meds later, and removed the demands of an ill-fitting job, it’s been a lot easier to get up and take care of myself because that’s usually all I have to worry about. If I do work, I don’t start earlier than 9, but most times I work evenings and that’s the best.

I am terrible in the mornings. I struggle waking up in the morning and usually don't get out of bed until 7am. I have to leave by 7:30 to be at work by 7:45. I take concerta right before leaving home but am not truly awake and functional until around 10am.

I'd get this back when I had to work. It was a vicious cycle of missing work to losing my job or my employer being open to me applying for accommodations.
