Feeling Uncomfortable in the Mental Health Community

Definitely! I have a lot of conditions but most of them are considered mild so I relate to what a lot of people say and how they feel but because mine are very severe I have a hard time not feeling like an imposter.

We feel out of place a lot! We have a lot of things going on at once and it is overwhelming to people what all is happening and then we end up distancing ourselves from each other. Not great but... I'm used to it.

Yes most certainly. Its caused me to reflect back on my own shortcomings and issues. But it turned out to be a positive thing, as it has resulted in my educating myself and practicing my communication skills and working harder to relate to more people so I can eventually volunteer within my community doing something I enjoy.
