my last two periods were 3 weeks apart. if the next one is due on this schedule, then I'm due in the next couple of days. how do people manage the bloating. I know I've put on weight and I now need to get more exercise, but I do notice my body getting more bloated at the stomach and heavier breasts.

3 weeks is very normal - especially for people on birth control. They will give you medication for 3 weeks and then the fourth week you have a period. People do say when you are on your period you gain weight and become more bloated, but off your period you can lose that weight and are usually less bloated. I don’t have too many suggestions on how to stop being bloated, but i can for sure tell you it isn’t abnormal.

Some people manage bloating during their periods by getting up and walking around for a small amount of time, which might help the abdomen feel looser. Heating pads are another go-to option for alleviating discomfort. Additionally, maintaining a healthy diet with less salt and sugar, drinking water, and exercising can also help reduce bloating.
