Share Your Experiences with Dicyclomine (Bentyl) for IBS Symptoms

Hi Friendos! If you’ve got IBS or bowel endometriosis symptoms and have tried the antispasmodic med dicyclomine / brand name Bentyl please let me know how its worked for you, share any experiences, side effects, thoughts etc. my doc wants me to try it for my ibs symptoms and says it could also potentially help some of my pelvic pain

I love bentyl. It makes such a difference I usually take it with my promethazine and I feel 100% better

I took it for a while but I don’t think it really did anything. I stopped taking it and nothing changed.

I take it I have ibs and extreme stomach spasms, I used to take it as needed I now take it once a day and as needed if need be. It has made a huge difference for me!!! Not only has it helped with my spasms but it has helped me with… forceful and painful bowel movements.. It makes me very loopy and tired so I take it at night but I find that the benefits out way the side effects.

I was on dicyclomine but it didn’t work well for me and one of the side effects that I experienced was blurred vision. I couldn’t see anything. Of course I am not taking it now.
