does anyone else get emotional thinking about having lupus? like on top of actually having it and dealing with that, i just get sad thinking about the fact that its my life and its never gonna go away and my whole lives just gonna be doctor appointments, medication, medical bills, and treatment. its more than just being sick. im young and shouldnt have to deal with this kind of stuff until im old but thats just how it is i guess and theres no curing it. and people who domt have lupus don't understand how it effects us and all the stress and stuff it comes with. it sometimes makes you just feel alone

I know it's difficult to have a label to something because we all want to fit in, but you know what being unique and being different is ok to be too. Being sick is not great just take it a second at a time then a minute then an hr embrace your emotions and breathe them out

Yes! It has made me even more depressed. I miss my old self. I wasn’t a very active person before, but there has definitely been a big change, not being able to walk a long distance, always having joint pain, the fatigue. I feel helpless, and alone. No one understands what I am going through. My family think I’m over reacting, making it all up, that it’s all in my head. That I complain too much. And it just sucks that you’re never gonna go back to who you were before. I’m tired of taking all these medications that only help a little. 🥺😢 it’s a very depressing and lonely disease.

There is hope! Look up Brooke Goldner and her Goodbye Lupus book. She totally eliminated her Lupus through diet. You can too! I been on her Smoothies and have wonderful results!

@ColorMeHappy this isn’t true. Harmful scam. You can’t eliminate lupus it’s incurable and especially not with diets and smoothies that’s ridiculous some nasty person is just trying to sell a book it’s total bs you need immune suppressants to manage lupus. I hate these comments people feed on vulnerable sick people with conditions like lupus trying to sell products that don’t work or even worse cause harm, even the people who genuinely believe these things help them it’s not true if they felt any benefit it’s psychosomatic and their condition is mild or not even a correct diagnosis.
