Living with Dysphoria: Should I Talk to My Parents?

I’m still in highschool living with my parents and my two brothers (6 and 10 years old) They still know me as my sister. I’m out to my parents and all but my brothers know me by my deadname and “sissy” which I don’t always care about because they’re little but it kind of makes me really dysphoric. Do you think it’s a good idea maybe to talk to my parents about like maybe explaining to them that I’m trans or should I just like get over it

      This one is hard. With how dysphoria you have, maybe you should talk to them. Maybe explain that it’s just apart of you growing or something?? Idk, I have a little nephew but I never really had to go through this since he moved out with my sister a while ago and I’m just getting more comfortable as a trans guy 😕

      A great transition word for my sister was to start calling me her sibling. It sounds similar so it helped a lot. I would tell them, you shouldn't let your dysphoria triggers go unnoticed.
