I really just need someone to talk to... someone I don't know, because I feel like if you don't know me, you judging me won't be as effective

Feeling vulnerable may feel like a bad thing, but it's much better than trying to bottle up your emotions or not talk about it at all. Take your mother's advice. Let yourself grieve. You're going through especially hard times, and don't go through them alone. Finding a therapist or, like Jay said, a support group, or even just opening up to family or friends about it may help in the long run. You've already spoken with your mom and on here, so that's an amazing start. Keep going, you'll get through this 💕

I appreciate you three. And yeah, after my miscarriage, I've just been very anxious (like for what seems like no reason) and depressed (as expected). I haven't been able to sleep at night, and depending on what's going through my mind at the moment, I'll start crying. I spoke to my mom, she says I just need time to let myself grieve, but time hasn't been kind to me. And I feel like if I let myself grieve, it won't stop, and I don't like feeling that vulnerable, whether I'm alone or not.

@Wild_Goddess and I appreciate you, WG. You have taken you personal struggles and come here and consistently provide support and encouragement to others is a really positive way. Thank you for making this app a better place. I'm sorry for your loss and it is a loss. I'm gonna agree with your mom in that grief is a natural part of healing. While we are certainly here for you, a grief counselor or support group may be a more specialized way of making it through this.

I am always willing to talk about anything if you need to! I promise I won't judge, and neither should anyone else on this app.

I feel the same way. Usually I go online looking for someone to talk with, though it's a little risky, I think it helps. Anything I could do to help?

Hi. I think you will find people here are more likely to be supportive, not judgemental. Talking to people you don't know allows for more honesty and I hope there is something we can share with you that you find helpful. How can we help... ?
