New to Therapy: Seeking Advice on Sharing Personal Problems

I'm new to this app, I actually found it scrolling through my Instagram stories, lol, I'm still a little nervous to put my true feelings out there. Therapy is an option for me but I find it extremely stressful to actually go to appointments... Even if someone is trained to listen, I always feel as if my personal problems are a burden to others. I typically bottle everything up to the best of my ability (it's horrible to do I know) but I don't want my friends to feel like I expect them to be therapists- I'm honestly unsure what to do. Honestly any advice would be extremely helpful! Thank you for your time. 💞

Hi and welcome and I am newer to this app as well.. and could use a person to talk to if you could do the same.. I have found that this app has helped me to feel more "normal" and know that I am not alone in how I feel.. in general and with certain diagnosis... ❤️ Everyone is so kind and understanding and I have yet to see hate on here or negative feed back on anything! 💕 You are more than welcome to message me.. I use this app because the people I live with do not understand me and I am not at a place where they are people I picked to live with so I won't open up ...
