OK is it weird to be someone whose hearing disabled but also be part of the LGBTQ+ community? I gotta know seeing how that is me I am Bisexual, Non-binary, and I think as of recently possibly Acesexual and I'm also hearing disabled and wear hearing aids whenever I tell someone about myself and how I'm LGBTQ I always get this "look" on the other person's face like it's such a weird odd ball thing to have happen and like it's the most unusual thing in the world it's like yes I may have a disability but I'm also a "normal" human being with feelings like everyone else so I gotta ask is it really as unusual as everyone makes it seem???

Yea I get this people think I’m trying to be “quirky” ah yes getting a diagnosis that will drastically change my life, and paying 5000 dollars to hear, so quirky, why didn’t I think of that? Oh right cuz I don’t care

I've been hard of hearing since birth, I wear hearing aids in both ears, and I'm a bisexual female.

Unfortunately hearing loss sometimes falls under the invisible disability category but your completely "normal"

I'm HoH, wear hearing aids, am a demigirl, am bi, and it's not weird at all~

Woahhh, no! It's not weird at all. Hearing loss is vast and people struggle to understand it (esp if you're like me and don't wear hearing aids consistently). But I'm bisexual and it's definitely not an oddball combo!

Heyo! I’m also asexual and bi and have a severe hearing loss, I don’t think it’s super unusual
