Help! Itching is driving me crazy!

Itching is driving me crazy. My entire body is covered with open sores. It’s worse at night. Can’t sleep at night. I have tried every cream, ointment and lotion out there with no results. My life is miserable.

      I have random itching 😥 My dermatologist tested me for parasites and said it was positive. My GI doc ordered a stool test which I have not done yet I take Benadryl 12.5 mg Liquid but it makes me sleepy 😴

      It’s really weird with me. It affects certain parts of my body more than others. My ears and my left arm mostly. Of course there’s always the random itch anywhere. But seems more concentrated to those areas. It is so tiring. Keeping cool definitely helps. If I’m hot I may as well not even try to sleep. I take hydoxyzine to help with sleep but it only helps keep me asleep. Doesn’t help me go to sleep. If that makes any sense. Also take cholestramine. Not sure that it does anything and it’s a pain to take due to having to schedule it around other meds.

        @Axamillion 🙌 same. Frustrating with sleep. I experience jerk movements also in limbs. 😥 I was put on Zoloft and between the anxiety and crawly , itchy skin it was driving me nuts. I'm slowly coming off Zoloft and the anxiety has lessened.

      My Gastro/Liver specialist started me on Cholestrymine (powder). It helps with my itching as well as the diarrhea...not perfect but it does help. I also take Alegra at bedtime when it is really bad. Hope this helps.

      I have that problem at times and I find that keeping the areas that itch cool. Also you lover specialist can prescribe something to help.

      Please ask for a referral to see a Hepatologist. That is a liver specialist. They can help you more than a family practice physician.

      I’m so sorry I feel the same! The bottom of feet are the worse and nothing seems to help. If I find something I will definitely let you know😊
