the back of me head has been pounding for three days now and I’ve had insane anxiety. 10x worse than I usually have. Everything is scary and triggering to me. I’m getting lightheaded in bed and I’m barely moving I just want to sleep all the time so I can just be unconscious because idk what’s going on but I’m terrified of confronting it bc I’m scared of drs and talking about medical stuff. Just being on the phone with my therapist yesterday was not a good experience. I had to call my bf and have him come home from work to be with me cause I freaking out and crying and I just wanted to scream. I’m taking my pills like normal and nothing has changed. Idk why this is happening.

Have you just started your meds? It could be that you’re slowly adjusting to them, sometimes they can make you feel worse before you feel better. Also for anxiety.. staying in and in bed a long time actually makes it worse. I know it’s hard but maybe try and get your boyfriend to take you out for a walk.. it’s scary but I promise it will make you feel at least a little bit better. Even a little exercise like a short walk calms your nervous system down slightly!

@Adika It is imperative that you seek out help, have your boyfriend hold your hand whilst you’re on the phone to a dr, anything that can help you relax during. Antioxidant rich foods, calming herbs such as Ashwagandha, marshmallow root, chamomile, valerian root (although this root can interfere with meds, so make sure you check it’s okay). Make sure you’re not low on vitamins, because sometimes when your body drops in vitamin D, B12 and magnesium - that can elevate anxiety and depression and make your existing symptoms much worse so it’s definitely worth checking that out. If you can’t manage to go for a blood test, order some of these vitamins and try taking them everyday, see if they make a difference. Too many vitamins won’t harm you, but not enough can definitely make you feel worse! Hope this helps, if you want to talk I’m here! And can definitely advise further if you’d like ☺️
