Feeling Lost and Alone with HPV and Warts

I'm really sorry to hear that you are going through that. :( I don't have experience with the type of situation that you are describing, but if you didn't get an STI panel/other labs done, it seems strange to immediately come to that conclusion. Do you know if you have received the HPV vaccine series? Of course, it's not a 100% chance of protection, but in the event that you have, you could bring it up with your doctor. Were you asked about sexual history/known cases in your family? Or were there any symptoms outside of warts that you discussed that are associated with HPV? It completely depends on the dynamic between you and your doctor, but the best case scenario would be that you could express that it feels premature and that you are having some anxiety about it and want to talk through it with them before having an operation. I think it is very reasonable to have emotions about this situation. I'm sorry that I don't have better advice, but I hope you are able to find a resolution!
