my doctor told me I had hpv without been tested bc I have warts and want to do surgery to remove them anyone else going though this I feel lost and hopeless and alone I been crying all day I don't know what to do

Were you asked about sexual history/known cases in your family? Or were there any symptoms outside of warts that you discussed that are associated with HPV? It completely depends on the dynamic between you and your doctor, but the best case scenario would be that you could express that it feels premature and that you are having some anxiety about it and want to talk through it with them before having an operation. I think it is very reasonable to have emotions about this situation. I'm sorry that I don't have better advice, but I hope you are able to find a resolution!
