Dealing with Illness Anxiety: Seeking Support and Treatment Ideas

I’ve been a hypochondriac since I can remember but I only realized it was illness anxiety being in social work school 5 years ago. I was diagnosed with hpv 16 in 2019 and ever since my anxiety is higher than ever. Everyday I think I may die because i think i have cancer although thankfully not so far. I also have a lot of anxiety in seeing doctors as of late. Looking for support and any treatment ideas anyone can share.

      I tested positive 3 months ago with LSIL. Going back on Thursday to see if it's still active. I've had strep and a UTI since my last appointment and was on antibiotics so I have a feeling I'll still test positive. I understand your anxiety

      I’ve had it for 3 years and I’m worried I may never clear it. I even had leep procedure and still positive

        @Mindoverbody I also had a leep as well. Mine cleared a year or so after that.

      I did AHCC supplements for a few months and I cleared HPV on my own as of last year. I have 16 too.
