How I Got PTSD: My Story

Domestic violence and being a domestic violence victim.

Traumatic birth of my daughter...60 hours of labor, medical neglect, rude nurses, panic attack in labor, given fetnyl without consent, and my daughter was in the NICU for 30 days. All of the NICU stay could've been prevented if they were not negligent and had given me a c section.

Hella bullying and abusive "friends". Hard to find resources on either, because friend abuse barely exists in society's eyes, and bullying is supposedly normal.

Sexual assault, molestation. Physical and mental abuse from parental figures

Domestic violence, sexual abuse, my dad physically abusing my brother, emotional abuse from my family and then had some emotionally abusive significant others.

Sexual assault, physical and verbal emotional psychology abuse almost all the abuses... Anyways also all these things were from my mom's ex boyfriend and I was 5 at the time. My dad stayed and lived with us for 3 years of my life and then left and came back so I go see him from time to time but he could be forced back to Guatemala. My mom was an alcoholic, my dad was a lil bit of a alcoholic and all my friends that I trust always just go away and I mean they don't say anything they just slowly go away and they lie and they tell secrets I tell them and other things. Mental/emotional/spiritual/physical warfare for 10 years.

Rape, physical abuse, emotional/psychological abuse, neglect.

Car accident and childhood trauma. My sister used to chase me with knives. My stepdad.

For me, it is better, but our house burned down. It got better, though I am now working through trauma that I didn't know was trauma.

A motorcycle accident that nearly killed me in 2016, triggering other problems

Straight up, my one of my earliest memories is getting stabbed in the foot with a screw driver by my dad. For me to say the abuse I endured until adulthood was pretty brutal feels like an understatement.
