I started on Valsartin 160/25 with the added diuretic in addition to metoprolol 25mg cut in half about 6 mo. ago. It seems to make me jittery, and at night I will have bouts of my heart pounding and flushing. maybe 4 or 5 times a night. my BP is down within reason all day (135/78-80) ish. But at night it goes haywire. I never experienced this at all before the BP meds. My doc says its anxiety. I'm trying controlled deep breathing, which helps some, and Loeazapan. 25mg. which also helps some. Has anyone else out there had similar issues with valsartin?
