Is it wrong to just want general affection? I find it hard to be emotionally involved in a relationship, I'd rather have friends who are like giant teddy bears to me.

      you might also find a partnership that has less emotional/romantic involvement and is focused more on companionship. queer platonic partnership, for example, or just dating another person with similar issues with being emotionally involved, might suit you. not that i want to try and push you towards a committed relationship if you don't want one, just want you to know that not every relationship has to be full of pda and romantic feelings
