definitely when it comes to mental stuff, especially when there's also a generational gap (though that alone could be its own conversation). a lot of older men specifically are still stuck on the mindset that having mental issues is a choice or it makes you weak, "men dont cry" or that sort of thing. and from my experience, advice from men seems to be to tough it out or be aggressive or "man up," whereas women will take a quieter or more hesitant approach. idk, it is interesting
