Does anyone else with Fibro get the sensation that something is crawling on your skin. I swear it triggers my spasms causing cramps to start

I do. In my case it's a warning sign that your nerve endings are over stimulated. Someone explained it to me like this: think of your nerve endings like a sprinkler attached to a hose. The kind with all the different settings: soak, light shower, shower, fan spray, and jet stream. So, the bug crawling sensation would be the soak setting with the water just trickling out. The worse it is, the faster the water is coming out until it switches to the light shower setting. The more stimulation they get, or the more overworked your body gets, the sprinkler head goes to the next setting until it hits the jet stream, which would be the searing or fire poking pain and/or total flare up.

Yes I get that a lot. Mainly on my wrists and hands. I've not noticed any particular trigger for it. It just seems to be random

Ya know, I always thought I must just have dry skin cause I get this feeling, and it makes me itch like crazy. I never thought to connect it to fibro before...

Yes, I get that sometimes... it usually warns me of a coming flare-up.

@faerywyrm God I hope that's not the case for me, I'm filming on Sunday! šŸ’•
